Well... yes... quite...

Been meaning to have a word about that :p

Once all the nominations are in, maybe the editor could start a fresh thread and people could vote on them. Top twelve get in.

Feeling rather Bolshie/revolutionary today :p

:cough: :splutter:

votes? what's democracy got to do with it?

there's art and arrangement to consider, and how it flows... it's not easy you know

but I will start another thread

You may wish to disqualify me as these were taken at the 2007 Colne barge match;

Nice.

But sadly disqualifed :(

I was thinking we could do a special edition just on Thames barges, or other classic East Coast boats, although I think there's a lot of people already doing that sort of thing.

Another option is to do a photobook, in addition to the calendar. These are a bit more expensive (prolly 15-20 quid mark) but exceptionally high quality. You'd get 20 pages of photos with space for text and commentary so room for many more photo's than a calendar. Hardback too. Molly and I have been doing them as leaving presents for the kids in the village school for the last 3 years or so, hugely popular with kids and parents.

Three more possibilities.

Gordon and Alison Vela Rose

Blimey that was a bit circuitous

Quote doesn't seem to work if you cut and paste it from a different thread though, anyone know how to do that? I'll get the pictures anyway.

That sticky East Coast Calendar thread is a bit confusing though, maybe we need to rationalise a bit with a clean link to the google calendar??

Vela Rose got lost with their second pics, which are here

Yeah - sorry about that - I knew I shouldn't have left it to the apprentice!

Note that the sunset-like one is a sunrise - it won a prize on the Moody Owners EC competition too!

and Lisa - clues to the quiz - I can't think what you could mean!

We'd like to order 3 calendars, in case anyone is counting.
