2 man dinghy which is best? Laser or Topaz

Those two boats are like chalk and cheese, and which is wich will depend really a lot on your needs. I would suggest you get talking to people at some local clubs and try to get some trial sails. then you can try to match your needs to a specific class.

If your 15 stone then a topaz is out for two and the laser 2 is a dinghy made for young enthusiastic people who dont mind hanging on a wire.

Look for a laser 2000 that is a fer better option for you and can be reefed if you want. Or even an enterprise. they are old but good boats to sail.
