1996 Fairline Targa 33/34 1996 with AD41s

This is the Targa 33 that popped up on Facebook over the weekend. I've been looking at it as well but think it's priced a bit on the high side. There's quite a price gap between these and the later KAD-powered 34s.

To clarify - it is a specific boat that I am looking at. It is neither a T33 or T34, but something different a "T33/34"- and its not something I have ever heard of tbh. She is apparently c36ft long - with 2 cabins, with a similar layout to an T34 or S34, though the heads appear to be next to the stern cabin, rather than the bow cabin.

The seller says "Basically its the very last of the 33 shape top sides . Slightly longer and more beam than the older 33 . They finished making the 33 in 1994/95 . Mine is a 1996 same year they changed shape in 1996/1997 . 33ft on paper but shes closer to 35/36ft "

Has anyone heard of this model? Some Pic below.

It isn’t all anti-foul - there is a similar coloured stripe above the anti-foul. On ours we had a red stripe and blue anti-foul so it was obvious which was which. We did follow the spray rails up the bow though - most I have seen do ?

Not a fan of the colour of the stripe and anti-foul though!

T34/35 has nothing to do with T30/33 beside a similar style.
Hull of T34/35 was different and boat was a bit beamer.
The T34/35 hull derived from the old T33 (mid eighties forward facing radar arch model) this model was produced till 94.

The T34/35 was a very good hull, much better in a chop to the T30/33 though this one did offer fun in the handling side.

Yes you are correct model T34 became 35 when Fairline decided to include bathing platform in length overall same as with other models hence the confusion. Never said it was rebadged original T30.
Don't know if you are correct about being derived T33 hull though.

Thanks PYB. One of the reasons for dallying was being unsure whether the hull was any good. That and whether i'd be better off keeping my money for a rainy day

If it makes you feel any better I walked away from it as well. If you're going to spend this sort of money you may as well get exactly what you want - if you have to convince yourself then don't bother.

Shame, I really like that model (T35) and with the AD41 would be a great combination. personal opinion is that would be a goodun.
my view is that some buyers spend too long looking for faults or have unrealistic expectations compared to the pleasure gained from a boat.
Most minor things can be corrected for not a lot.
BTW the stripe colour is 'petrol' and impossible to get hold of now, but I have a bit left over if anyone needs it.

When I had my lines / stripes repainted the contractor came with a instrument to measure the colour as the original colour by Dupont Imron paint couldn't be had either. They then for want of a better word remade the colour using Imron the original paint and this service didn't actually cost me any more either. Just a thought in case anybody else is struggling.
