1996 Fairline Targa 33/34 1996 with AD41s

You live only once. I am boat less since 26 years, sold my Gobbi 335 SC a couple weeks ago. You can also add another eight years to those as I used to boat with other people.

This Summer will be sad, and just riding motor bikes. Trying to see how it goes before I go mad.

Those engines are AD41P-A...i've got a pair in my Targa 33 so i know them well.

They stopped making them in 2003 and my boat was re powered then as well.

The P-A are the last and best model to have...they do not smoke and very easy to work upon. As long as they have been looked after and have been used you will be fine.

No fancy electronics or supercharger to worry about. Turbos often need doing about 750 hours or so.

let me know if you need anything more.

For all that maybe interested, I have owned this boat since 2022 and I have done a lot of work to her including new turbos and a full strip down and refurbish of both drives. She runs perfect with a top speed of 34 knots. Brilliant engines and a fantastic boat.

so - plus sides are: superficially looks tidy, and a fair price + would be fun (when working)

down sides are: engine access, rear canopy + its rather a niche / unusual model. .. I do wonder if it might be worth spending a bit extra to get a t37 - as is prettier, better cockpit layout and will be easier to sell when the time comes :unsure::unsure:
Or a t36!😁
