Did my day skipper practical a while back. Am I right in saying I can now apply for an ICC? I would like to charter a boat abroad at some point and I’m told an ICC is the thing to have.
Your Day Skipper will probably work for chartering anyway but, as it's free, you may as well get the ICC too. Check with your charter company.
Where was that?A friends son was boarded in Portugal this year. He had all papers in order with his yachtmaster aswell. His icc was onboard but in the depth of some locker so wasn’t with his paperwork. The officials were going to fine him for not having his icc.
Suffice to say he made them wait while he systematically went through his lockers much to their annoyance. Hey presto the ICC produced. Much relief at not receiving a several hundred euro fine.
It expires after 5 years, renewed mine last year. The ICC expires after a few years (can't remember how often)
Where was that?
What flag boat?
Sounds extremely atypical.
