There will be a cost involved together with an inspection requirement to enable the safety certificate which all recreational Spanish registered vessels are required by law to have, renewable every 5 years.
Regards cost to register I'm not sure but the local capitania office will know...
Where I live over here in Gran Canaria a good friend from the UK keeps both his Targa's.....yep he owns two here, well in fact he owns three but the other he keeps in Norway!

Non technophobe here seeking some advice as I'm finding conflicting answers online searching.
This weekend I bought a used chartplotter (Furono) which uses the C- MAP max SD card which also has a micro card within it....
Printed on the SD it is for the southern Med and Agean sea area...
Pleased to update my earlier statement in this thread.....
My monthly maintenance fee (circa 50€) here in Puerto de Mogan on Gran Canaria does cover all costs for ground tackle.
