Reminds me of watching the fishermen come back in. 8 knots through the harbour up to about 6 ft from the quay, a brief puff of smoke and the boat was alongside!

I'd say jets too.

100% jets (I drive water jet powered boats for a living).

Set revs, bucket ahead for the approach, last minute, bucket astern and a load of right hand down, as she comes in then bucket to middle to stop you reversing out.
