Fenderstep 3

I am sure that Claymore does not have any vested interest, but I do, as the designer and developer of this product that has now sold more than 1500 units in just the six months since their UK launch I am delighted that people are finding them of use both for getting on and off their boats (even...

    Fenderstep

The third eye just gives more versatility. If you want to use it as a ladder over the bow you can tie off to the pontoon to stop swinging. Also if you turn the step over and suspend it from the single eye it is a great back-up fender. Apparently they are now being used by Fish Farmers as well...

    Sadler (Frigate) 27'

Re: Frigate27\' Tumblehome. Is the "bulge" where maximum beam is not at toe-rail height. Also seen on many 1970's IOR baots such as the Hustler. The Sadler 25 had a little, but the Frigate really curves!

    Sadler (Frigate) 27'

Re: Frigate27\' Just did a search on Google...... The following one asking £13.5k looks brilliant. The fine sheer and tumblehome can be seen. http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk/ad/F07301 Fair winds Malcolm

    Sadler (Frigate) 27'

Re: Frigate 27 The Frigate 27 was originally marketed as the Quest 27 also the final versions were known as the Phoenix 27. We sailed one "Annie of Orford" for 4 seasons. Overall well built, agree with points about small interior and that if home finished quality of fit-out might be variable...

    Steering Cable tension

The steering cables on my Sun Odyssey have a slight slackness. Whilst I can see how to adjust them, what is the correct tension? Can you make a visual assessment - say as a fan belt so if they can only be deflected by 1/2 inch or so that is roughly right? or is a more scientific approach needed...

    Bow Roller First305

Not sure how, but I know it can be done. We used to have a 305 and broke the fitting in an argument with a sea-wall!!. We had it replaced by Larkmans in Woodbridge Suffolk after ordering the replacement from Beneteau

    Fenderstep

Re: Fenderstep - Designers Reply Glad to have all this feedback on this product and also pleased that at least most posters seem to like the idea…… If I might make a couple of points that may not be clear about the design. The FenderStep has injection moulded top anchorage eyelets, these are...
