When I epoxy painted and then Copper coated my hull I used elictrical insulation tape. Cheap enough from Screwfix or toolstation and can be left on for longer periods than paper tapes.

I always use electical tape.

My Aquadrive was impossible to remove and in the end I cut the shaft to get it all out !!

No I have a house there and thanks to their much geater towing limits (55' I think) I can tow my boat (28' and about 3 - 4 tons) to whichever coast or lake I prefer. UK today 6°C Florida 24°C.

I keep a sailboat in the UK for summer use and a motorboat in Florida for winter use. Thinking I came home too early this year!!!
