    How useful is VHF on inland waterways?

    The trouble is VHS wont work mostly inland, a hand held will work a lot less. This is not to say that you should not have one, But VHS is line of sight, so it wont work round bends.

    thats a mean eye stare, best for one of next doors dogs that pissed in the conservatory, and then ran upstairs yesterday, Henry was not happy. It was a much bigger dog. It got in via Henry's small dog flap.

    Trees & sap are an issue at PD, try to get a mooring between the bridge and the lock, i.e. beyond the overhanging trees. The bridge is loud, but it does go quiet at night, or get your fun box out and you won't hear anything. I don't like the ladders, the dog doesn't either. Try the crab salad...

    in reply to what happened here with the bashed in back door, too much imbibing from our home fun box I think, what a mess, £200 plus, plus vat to repair it. Henry being the good dog that he is, urrrm, had nothing to do with it.
