    Jabsco twist & lock problem

Thank you all. I’ll try the remove and clean option one more time before going down the replace route. I might have missed something before so I will inspect carefully this time. cheers

    Jabsco twist & lock problem

I replaced my old Jabsco pump with a new twist & lock a year or so ago and all has been fine until last season when the lever started flicking back slightly (on the first pump) when pushed over to the right to drain. it is only a very slight movement, barely noticeable but it does stop you being...

Where to get new steering wheel?

As per title. Just want an idea of cost for a replacement wheel on our Sigma 362. Didn't measure the diameter but it must be about 48" probably more. Searched online but can only find little motor boat wheels. Anyone have an idea of where I can find a seller? Cheers

    Wiring extra domestic battery

Ok, so I know the subject of batteries is huge and complex but can someone tell me the best way to wire in an extra battery to the domestic? I currently have only one start and one domestic wired through a 1,2, both switch to charging from either the alternator or the Adverc charger. If I...

    Cost of osmosis repair

Depends on the level of osmosis I suppose. My boat had many, many blisters all over the hull so I needed a full gelcoat peel followed nearly a year later by skimming off a layer of laminate as she just wasn't drying. This then needed a new layer of biaxial cloth and finishing off with epoxy. A...

    Cost of osmosis repair

I had my 36' done in 2013/14. Estimate was £4800, final cost was nearer £8000. Also took about a year longer than we thought it would. If I had that time over again I'd just take it sailing.

mobile broadband in western isles of scotland

Have to say that out west Vodaphone gives best chance in my experience with EE probably the worst and O2 inbetween. Colleague was posting Facebook updates off Staffa on Vodaphone recently but no coverage at all on my O2. However 3/4G - forget it as far as a reliable connection is concerned.

    ST60+ wind over-reading

So you think it will be the transducer, not the display or wiring then?

    ST60+ wind over-reading

Thanks Nigel. It has worked fine for the last several years so I assume something has failed - might this not be the case? The readings are out quite a lot - what I would have said to be an F4 or F5 is reading 36 knots or so, F3 is showing 20+ knots

    ST60+ wind over-reading

I've searched online for a few hours and found faults explained with these displays and sensors but none that result in the display showing higher readings than it should. Anyone any ideas if this will be masthead sensor or display meter and if it will be repairable or not? Thanks
