Fairly cheap and very cheerful. Not that I mind paying for an expensive meal from time to time, but when there is a crowd who want to eat, drink, be merry, and circulate a lot, a less formal location is much more suitable.
Is there a suitable pub who might have a function room?
I have only stopped in Weymouth once, and we ate in the SeaCow, so I can't be more specific, I'm afraid.

Never been there, but is there a local yacht club that might provide some food and drink? That way our money would help their funds rather than a restauranteur. Just a thought!
