i have been thro a number of zodiac rowlock fittings this year. the problem appears to be that the strain when rowing is taken on a plastic fitting on the oar. this bends and then cannot be fitted into the dinghy rowlock. i did notice in ireland a homemade stainless fitting on an oar- has anuone made up such a fitting?
