Taken last week on a trip between Chichester and Littlehampton

Never been to Littlehampton before and we actually liked it, a bit kiss me quick but during the day lots happening on the river and in the evening the people just melted away...

We've been blessed with good weather on this trip, very lucky, Chichester.

Fantastic pictures, that water's like glass!
Strongly suspect it won't be anything like that when we set off for Holland!

The photo brings back memories. I learnt to sail and muck about on boats at Littlehampton 50 years ago, twas a little different then.
But The Arun Yacht club building doesnt appear any different.

That's now the Harbourmaster's offices, the club are over the other side of the river and they do seem very active, especially in the evening, they seem to favour "dancing queen" but they do finish at a sensible time.

We were supposed to go there but there was a bridge in the way, we ended up on the visitors moorings, enjoyed the stay.
Right! The harbourmaster raised the bridge for us, not sure it was necessary but all the more fun. The. Marina there is lovely , simple, friendly and family run and you can make a run up to Arun in the tender if you time it well...

Unfortunately they had a new person on the phone when we booked and although we gave all the boat details they didn't inform the harbourmaster who needs 24 hours notice, the marina manager did contact me to apologise.
Still, we had a nice stay on the visitors moorings.
