Does anyone know a source for SAE 30 HD oil, which is the recommended oil for the gearbox on our Yanmar - Google is not being my friend on this...

I put the genuine Yanmar oil in mine - I also put it in the engine (1gm10).

I use Quicksilver SAE30 HD oil for the engine and gearbox on my 3YM20. Available from most chandlers.

A source of old specification mineral oils (or "classic" as they prefer to call them) is Morris Oils. They manufacture all the old types and you can buy online. The range includes such things as flushing oil and running-in oil, almost unknown nowadays in the automotive dominated market.
