Yamaha 2.5hp 4 Stroke Lower Oil Seal Replacement

I am looking to change the seals on the lower leg of a Yam 2.5 as there was water evidence in the last oil change. Whilst I have the service manual, I cannot find any online videos or info regarding the job. Has anyone got any info or links to assist before I begin?

If you have the service manual follow the instructions in there. You cannot always rely on you tube videos etc.

Change the both drive shaft seal and the prop shaft seal and any O rings you disturb and gaskets

Thanks for the reply. Problem with the service manual is it just details the full dismanteling of every part, not a specific job which in this case is the replacement of seals and gaskets for the lower oil case. Often they will have you doing 10 steps when only 4 are needed as they are aimed at dealers and not at the owner who is more prepared to work at an awkward angle etc..
