Hello everyone, I'm back having forgotten my password I now have another! So, no replies to my request for Rambler owners. Well since this letter I contacted Classic Marine who very kindly discussed the Main sheet pulley system I wanted and using their blocks, two of which they made up for me using springs between the pulley and deck plate, everything is now in place and appears to work well. Obviously once I am back on the water a full test will prove efficiency.
All work below the waterline is now completed apart from a couple of coats of antifoul. A Wykeham-Martin gear size 1 self furler has been put in place for the jib and I now await delivery of new sails. Re launch is hopefully the end of March so once more another winter of intensive work will hopefully pay off for a good season's sailing. The boat will go back into Torquay inner harbour, if anyone is interested.
All the best
Kevin
