That is Interesting! If it was a Peters stock boat then my sources were right and EBY did step in to help the marine loan company (who they also use to finance craft). Something about "we have a problem...can you help us? We have a huge credit risk on some investment we made and with all the rises in Interest rates and the stock market wobbling we thought you might help us reduce our bad debts!"

Well if she is the first...several more will be punted as soon as Lombard get them back off the administrators!!

All rumour and conjecture of course /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Cheers

Petem - When you speak of the T37 @ £95k, why do you sya 'Not surprised it's under offer'? Is it the price, or reputation of the boat?

Is £55k for an S28 a good offer? It seem's to be, but is the general reputation for Sealines, a bit, um, negative?

Is it good value though? I'm flying over to the UK in the next 2/3 week's to view a Leader 805 which is at 'No offers' £50k .... Surely 10% could be knocked of an asking price of an S28? If it were good value i'd nearly just 'splash out' and spend the extra few bob (Eventhough IMHO an S23/Leader 805 is all i'd ever need) .... Agh!!

Both, it's a classic boat and you will not find one anywhere cheaper than this.

As Al says, the S28 is one of the best Sealines and this does appear to be good value.

No its not good value just realistic, single diesel S28's start at £45K, most of that vintage are advertsied between 50-60K. The EBY boat has twin AD31's which makes it less desirable, AD31''s are horrible vibrating machines and not quite grunty enough, most S28's have KAD32's.
