Anyone old enough will remember Stanley Kubrick's fantastic 2001:A Space Odyssey wherein the flight attendants on the space shuttle had velcro socks to keep themselves attached to the 'floor'.

wouldn't it be great if auto helm systems had a better plug system instead of that oh so fine thread they use that's nigh on impossible to get started!

wouldn't it be great if those syphoning barrel pumps you buy to fill your fuel tank didn't have those corrogated hoses that are impossible to drain completely
