Would you fancy meeting for an East Coast Forum drink?

Sure I’m right in saying everyone had a good time. Nice to put names to faces. Just to make sure those who paid in at the start got their drinks worth?? And look forward to working with a few members sorting chart plotter, heating and maybe a solar install. But please not the photo lol :disgust:

Agreed, nice to meet up with peeps.

Yes, a very good meeting. Some old friends, some new - it was good to meet everyone.

Now, to remind everyone of who was who, can you label yourselves in the photo?

I managed not to be in it but the dark haired chap with glasses second from right is my International Canoe - sailing Merchant Navy son Alex. Venue gets A for convenience and C- for atmosphere and would be happy to drive to Heybridge Basin another time. Nice to meet people and special thanks to Javelin for useful advice.

Yes, rerally nice to meet everyone and put faces to names..... Thanks DoM, 'a good idea. I agree that the venue was very convenient and easy to get to but also that the atmosphere and food were not great. I admit that I am biased but how about the Butt and Oyster in Pin Mill next time...... Good food and a great setting.

I did the boat show on Saturday (which I very much enjoyed) so unfortunately couldn't make the meet on Sunday - looks like fun so hope to make the next one!

It was nice to meet everyone, although i was a little late and didn't get to chat with you all.It would be good to make it a regular thing, i think.

It would be a nice idea to try and arrange some meetings through the year when we are all on the water. An informal arrangement such as Sunday should work, "let's meet up at such and such a marina in two weeks time".

I had a tad of a hangover caused by visiting a neighbour who is lethal with wine. I really did not intend to get drunk. I couldn't face the thought of driving and was probably still over the limit.
