HTML just causes problems.. people could put all sorts of nasty things in their posts like javascript which might mess it up. We've had previous experience of HTML in forums before at IPC..

You can however use 'Mark-Up' which allows you to put in images, and create clickable urls etc.

Click on Help and theres a section on mark-up somewhere. We're in the process of re-doing the Help and FAQ pages at the moment which will explain mark-up much better.

As for sound, I don't know about anybody else but when i'm surfing forums at work I dont want unexpected noises to come from my computer :)

HTML? You\'re kidding! And as for GIF\'s ...

Far too easy for a poster to pull down a board, even by accident. Ask Endy ... its happened even in BYM's sheltered little world, I know. And we're just waiting for some smart alec to devise a Javascript virus.

GIF's? Well ... what's your problem?

Re: PERSONAL ABUSE!!!! Kim!!!!!!

Those who still have their sense of humour intact, find these exchanges a real hoot. There is no bad language, the personal abuse is mild and not really harmful.
One hopes that Kim's sense of proportion is not as distorted as Steve's.

I think Steve has just spent too much time lolling about on his Bav in Greek sunshine, and he expects us to move at Med speed.

As for the Belgian ghostthingy - he obviously wastes so much time at work that I marvel he has a job at all, on the other hand, maybe.......?

The little snipes at poor old Steve101 seem grossly unfair, he is clearly a genuine chap, and gets a lot of silly stick for asking innocent questions.

Re: PERSONAL ABUSE!!!! Kim!!!!!!

Like I said, loss of a sense of proportion.

Reread my posting, and kindly point out which bit was abusive? Then reread this latest of yours.

In the days of clockwork, one could wind up a toy train until the spring became so tight that the toy stopped working.... you seem rather like that toy train, all wound up and lacking steam.

Maybe our Belgian friend took my posting in much the sense it was offered.

Take a nice long rest, Steve.
