I've got a to fit a new VHF deck plug and have lost the wiring instructions for the plug.
Emails to Vtronix UK are bouncing.
Does anyone have a copy of the instructions they can scan for me or describe in an email?

Sorry for taking so long to find the scan

.

This is an old thread but I have the same problem and the scan is no longer available. Can anyone help please?
I dont have the original scan and Lord knows where the instruction leaflet is after all these years but I dont understand why you cannot see it in my post ( maybe because you are a new memeber.
However I'll try a snip from there

You should be able to see it below. If you cannot perhaps it is because you are a new memeber

An a similar bind. Deck plug came with boat, so no instructions and don't even know what type it is.

Best guess is it's a Vtronix ACC105. It doesn't match the scan above though - my plug ('flying' end) is just three bits - gland nut, gland, then the main body, doesn't come further apart than that.

So maybe mine is an ACC105 and it's missing some parts (it's just been shoved together and somehow worked). If this was confirmed true I could just buy another complete ACC105, re-make the connection properly and shove it into the existing deck-mounted half, knowing it would fit.

Or maybe mine is a complete ACC105, the scan is not for an ACC105, and I just need a new wiring instructions that are for an ACC105.

Any help on identification and instructions would be much appreciated.

Must say it's pretty poor the instructions are not on-line. Are they trying to make you pay £40 for a new unit, just to get the instructions? Tempted to start again with a new plug and socket that is well supported, if there is such a thing.

Never got on with a deckmounted connector. Prefer to use a deck gland that will allow a PL259 PLUG to pass through and then use a simple barrel connector inside kept in a dry spot. The deck connectors always seemed to allow damp in eventually.

Turns out it was not an ACC105 after all.

Bought an ACC105 just to be sure of having a proper setup, done according to instructions. I like that you solder it, despite hassle. Can't really bring myself to believe in solder-less ones. I'm sure they're fine though, maybe there's some sort of EM stuff going on inside, beside any actual physical contact.

With an inside connection, thinking main pain is you're into dis-assembly every time you drop the mast (though that's only twice in 30 years for me, so maybe not so bad after all!).
