Its obvious winter is here and maintenance has not yet started. The posts on this forum have taken on an entirely new vein.

Should we all emigrate south to continue sailing, or buy plastic boats and forget the paintwork?

Its the best time to get out there chartering, much cheaper, marinas empty etc and it isnt always that cold is it. I have booked a Nov and Dec wekend with a free bonus day thrown in and more crew than I have space for!
