I have decided its time to change the front window. However, now that I have got it out, I'm tempted to renew the frame as well, especially as the removal didn't go all that smoothly! Any suggestions as to suppliers. It's not an opening window just a frame with perspex (I presume). As with all things I am working to a tight budget!

Cheers

If you can do without the frames then try:

Hadlow Marine Services

My pilothouse side window frames are shot and as my budget is very tight, I may, even as a temp measure get Hadlow to make me a set (of 5) acrylic ones. However I do prefer framed windows.

Unfortunately it is from the front of the coachroof, so I think that would be asking for trouble

I'm not sure why it would be a problem?

(RNLI lifeboat front windows are acrylic bolted at 2" centres to the wheelhouse structure - no frames)

My for'ard windows were overdue for replacemt.

The main saloon windows had been done in the past and had a logo on them which Mr Google helped me find. http://technauticmarinewindows.co.uk/ based in Burnham-on-Crouch. I sent them the old windows to use as a template and they made me a bespoke replacement pair to fit for £87.50 +VAT each.

They went in easily and look great.
