Windlas on a Jaguar 27

I want to fit a Lofrens Royal on my Jaguar 27.
I chose the Royal due to it's relative compact size.
I will have to move/replace the chain pipe as it on the Port side and is to far forward this also means I may have to extend the chain locker as well.
If anyone with a 27 has done this or anybody in a similar position has done this any advice would be most welcome.

I don't have the answer but i know Sailing Holidays have loads of Jag 27's with electric winches, I'm sure if you rang someone there they'd help you.

Hi fellow jag owner
my anchor winch has wooden 12 mm backing plate fitted under the deck just aft of the bulkhead
the original hausepipe removed and blanked off
without looking I think it's a lofrants or something like that
have fitted a remote control cable with box and buttons allowing me to control the winch anywhere without vonerable switches on deck
