Windermere moorings

Can anybody tell me who ownes the moorings around the area of the ferry on Far Sawrey side of the lake (west bank).

They are all privately owned. The area you are looking at is the most popular and you will be waiting a long time. The lake wardens manage the whole thing so pop in and ask. You normally get one in a bad area and then improve as one is available. We had a great one on the other side of belle isle and would recommend this area. Unfortunately we sold ours.

Mind you we are now in nice warm Marina with electricity, leisure club, pool, bar etc.......
