You imply some parts of Mersea dry and some parts of Tollesbury don't. That's exactly what I said. I made no comment about numbers and percentages. If you are high and dry in Mersea it doesn't help a bit that there are dozens of boats afloat out in the Quarters.

Okay, here's the gen. From the Nass - you follow a lot of port hand markers. When they end you will see a lot of starboard markers. When they end you will see moored boats. Theyre are withies nearby. Ignore the withies save to say you will definitely go aground there! Follow the moorings up to the creek. Pass very close to the moored boats. At the entrance to Tollesbury creek there are both left and right hand markers plus TWO tide guages if your aim is the marina. There are also waiting bouys. Dunno abt Janet Harber but if the people in the marina came out and held your hands it couldn't be easier! Good luck.
