Last night went for a blast across to Cowes for a bite & a pint.
The weather front had cleared through, with no sign of the predicted gales. The only "pleasure" boat we saw, was a yacht just leaving the Hamble as we returned.
Did see quite an impressive electrical storm N.W. of us. though !
Roll on Poole.

I must agree with you there, some of my best days boating have been over the 'laid up' months. No wait for the locke, No rags getting in the way, No problems getting space on visitor pontoons, TOTAL BLISS!!!

Chris

I love boats because land is too crowded

Buy my Fletcher please!!!!!

do your maintenance in August when the fishing is quiet and the rags are out in force, and enjoy the quiet winter weather following the equinox.

Oh Yes. I intend to stay afloat for Winter of next year (ark at me already).
Missed out on too many days stood ashore on a fine winters day thinking B*ll#cks, should be out there!
Plus it helps now I've got a heater.

Syd :)
