Who owns a boat like this

Until a few years ago, Leander was a regular sight around here and would anchor near Leoube (which is owned by JCB, another superyacht owner). Jeremy Clarkson did a documentary onboard her.

She was built 30 years ago (I think by Feadship) and is 62 m. LOA, and 1027 gross tons.

Some years ago I was working on haslar marinas light vessel.
A super yacht arrived alongside for about a month.
Whilst I was up the light tower for many weeks I was terrified of dropping something onto the boat along side.
They were very accommodating and I eventually got invited aboard for a tour!
I think it must have been the engineer I was with as we spent most the time in the engine room and workshop/garage.
The bilge under the engine was cleaner than my dinner plate!
Everything was touch screen controlled. The whole vessel theoretically could be started, go somewhere and anchor ,all controlled from the engine room touch screen with the aid of lots of cameras.
Another super yacht came in, had two submarines and 10 minutes after berthing it's helicopter landed.
I have gone wrong somewhere in this life !

You are thinking of LEANDER that once belonged to the late Sir Donald Gosling. Different boat. Although LEANDER has indeed berthed at Gunwharf in the past.

Talking of FAIR LADY she was available for charter in Scotland this summer. You could even take a sea plane to avoid the COVID crowds !

Saw here this morning on the Caledonian canal . Skipper said they don't charter guests only.
