.....Geoffs gone. He used to be round here all the time. Did he get that place out in Florida and is quietly sniggering along with Arthur about our weather, or has he seen the light and realised that theres more to life than ybw.com! Either way, has anyone seen or heard from him lately?

Don't know if he was at byrons bash, I did'nt go. I was supposed to be out on the boat exploring the Medway and estuary with the kids. We only got as far as Sevenoaks before the clutch went awol on the Range Rover. Still next weekend looks like it might be ok'ish weather.

trust your travel wasn't to bad - no doubt you would have rung from Sevenoaks if it had been a total failure! Landcruiser tows rangerover towing boat.what CE plate would I have needed for that?

It was interesting. Police man scratching head with what to do with Range Rover and boat Stradling the junction of M25/M26/A21. In the end phoned my brother to tow the boat back to the farm and limped home with mine.
Word of warning for other people who tow and belong to the RAC, they wont tow anything over 1500 kgs. So the trailer cover is a waste of time if you tow a medium sized cuddy.
