That was my immediate reaction, however that wreck does not look like the wreck just above Heybridge Basin to me, too many posts. On the other shore there seems to be a cottage or two, and there are no buildings in that position on Northy Island. Furthermore there seems to be some purple flowers in the foreground, and I cannot recall seeing plants like those there

To me it looks more like the Orwell, looking across from the North shore towards the area of open farmland East of Clamp House woods, there are cottages there down wades lane.
