Sorry, can't help you. Have my own memory problems!

Found a box of 2 1/4 square (in inches) or 6*6 (in cms) transparencies. Marking on lid suggests it is of a 1977 flotilla which was September in the Sporades. One of the shots was of a castle so I tried Google image search. Which very convincingly identified as Conisbrough Castle Keep. While I was probably working in Rawmarsh, near there, I have no recollection of visiting the castle in 1977!

Oban. Remove that palm tree and the building behind it and you’d likely have a nice photo with my boat in it.

I was thinking Alderney but the view doesn't fit in and the hills at the back look a lot to tall imho.
