You could try the Ministry of Defence - 1st Armoured Brigade/Royal Navy Gunnery School for target practice.

Easy Tigers

My word...abuse abuse abuse.

I am a motorboat man, when I can find time to get the thing fixed (always next weekend I suppose). I also crew for my nephew (a sailor) and my brother in law (a sailor). Personally I think PWCs are pants.

Having said all that, a neighbour of mine who is 15 and for reasons I will not go into is very slow reading and writing, asked me if I could help him out and try and sell the two jet skis that he has. Hence the question.

Abuse....abuse...abuse.

Thanks for the replies anyway.

I shall tell my pal that the chaps at the forum (well most of them anyway) were less than helpfull.

(By the way he wants to sell them because he is getting into dinghy sailing and wants to buy his own)

Re: Easy Tigers

Actually there was no abuse, only a reflection of what the large majority of boaters sail or power think of these things.

A 15 year old with TWO of these things is a frightening prospect indeed. I guess he could try selling through the same source he bought them from be it dealer or local rag, after all it attracted his custom. Failing that there must be a specialist magazine in the newsagents.

PLEASE PLEASE though ask him NOT to sell them to anyone in Poole or who might even think of going there....

Re: Easy Tigers

The replies did make me laugh and it was pretty much what I expected knowing the feeling on the forum for these things.

He did go out accompanied (pack culture maybe??) however his companions have led him astray some what. Best out of it altogether I think.

I have posted an ad for him now. I'll leave the rest up to him. I told him to get a proper boat ages ago.

Thanks again

Scott

Re: Easy Tigers

You know when people like you because they take the p!$$ out of you, it's when they stop you should start worrying.

Must admit I had a good laugh too. I know those things are a pain especialy when they go racing arround a quiet anchorage, but each to his own, there is no accounting for taste I say
