Spinnaker pole tied to extend boom, topping lift taken to end of pole, handy billy from pole end to motor? Later make a pair of figure-eights to save the lashing.

Crickey this is getting exciting! The boom ends 7 feet from the outboard bracket - guys I think the boom idea is a non-starter.
