Where to dry out on the Clyde?

I have dried at Loch Riddon, West side, although not using the pier. I just ran onto the beach (not with the present boat).
I have seen 27-ish foot boats dry at Tarbert, Loch Fyne at the side of the quay near the shower-block.
An ideal location would be against the pier at Kames. Do the work then retire to the hotel for a pint of Jarl to wait for the water.
Anyone done it?

I am amazed that there are so few convenient options, another inconvenient one is alongside the pier just outside the sealock at Ardishaig on sand, or alongside the crane breakwater at the Boat Club slip or alongside Jack Kays slipway, how come we have three, lucky or primitive?

there is a small red sandstone pier immediately south of inverkip power station pier, been wondering about drying out there? but can't find out anything about it

It used to be part of the Inverclyde estate and feel into disrepair a number of years ago. When the estate was sold for building houses I beleive it was part of a plot of land that was sold and the peir was rebuilt by the house owner.
I have used it many times a long number of years ago. You could dry out easily and safely then. It may be private now.

Can anyone suggest a suitable place to dry out a fin keeler in order to check anodes etc?
I'm based in Largs and am planning to stay in over winter but want to check anodes are ok first. Don't fancy forking out for a lift in and out and wondered if anyone could suggest anywhere suitable for a quick dry out. Happy to go against a wall but cant think of anywhere myself. Cheers for any suggestions.

many thanks.

the sign's on it looked like they said "private keep orf" but we haven't been that close. which got me to wondering if you could own land/pier that was occasionally beneath HW springs etc. but reckoned a bottle of whisky would probably smooth the water.
