Neither was was until I succumbed this year after decades of resistance. I won't be going back to rubber. Maybe it's an age of thing.

It really is an age thing.

Comical thing is my new boots have a white sole and I don't have a teak deck. Last time I was on a teak deck the skipper did not care what colour sole we had.

I use Bama Sokkets (£10) in Shoe Zone wellies (£10). The wellies are green but their soles are pale caramel colour, not black.
The Sokkets may get damp but the socks and feet stay dry.

The Op was very, VERY specific about the colour, green might clash with something or confuse the crew in always turning to starboard or something.

Aksherly, if you want cheap, all yellow, full height yellow wellies with a natural sole, in size 47, it seems difficult to find.
