I bought a couple of different length ones not long ago at Fox's, Ipswich ... just checked and you can get them from their on-line store ... all different sizes ... you should get what you want from there.

Threads can get quickly lost on this forum so I try to make it a little intriguing hoping people will read it that would not necessarily have done so.

If you get completely stuck give me a shout and I'll make you one; 316 stainless, threaded one end with a stainless dome nut, either drilled at end for pin or could probably make a proper drop nose end if you prefer

If i were you i would call it a " stick it in the stemhead fitting thingy"
After all this fuss an inexperienced crew may take "drop pin" literally
In fact with nothing better to do than moan about the title some readers may like to dream up a name
( note ---"a stick it up your ------- pin " will not be allowed)
