Nice try, but no virtual mars bar.Is it a Lancia museum?
How are those engines coupled together and controlled?I'll throw in another hint with a couple of very peculiar cars (2 engines each!), but if you see a too obvious pointer, don't trust it...!![]()
'fraid I don't know exactly, M.How are those engines coupled together and controlled?
I think I know. The nearside engine drives the nearside rear wheel and the offside engine drives the offside rear wheel. And there's 2 accelerator pedals so that the driver can make sure the car goes in a straight line with a steering wheel connected to the front wheels to help with that. The driver can back off one engine or another to help the car go round a corner or even put one engine in reverse to make the car turn on its own axis. There are no brakes; the driver just puts both engines into reverse to slow the car down but I guess tyre wear could be quite high'fraid I don't know exactly, M.

Sounds outlandish now I know. You wouldn't put such a complicated inefficient drive system in any kind of modern vehicle![]()
Yes that was the joke, bjbUnless it floated, of course.![]()

What? Don't tell me that you dismissed the Fiat Coupé for a bimmer...?! :ambivalence:I drive a bimmer but I hate them![]()
That's a "33 Stradale" - can see her better in this video:Is the red one that looks like a Ferrari p4, a lola /alfa effort?
Well folks, it's not like I've been overwhelmed with requests for other pics... But hopefully, this doesn't mean that you are all dull bimmer fans.
Besides, a friend of mine asked me to upload some pics to cross link them elsewhere, so I thought that I could as well throw them into this thread, just in case anyone might appreciate.
Here goes...
