Yes , he goes by the moniker of Hlb , when we're being polite to him - will supply you via mail order. OR search for Depsol who will tell you his stockist in your area if you send him a PM.

If you buy it watch out for the quantity in the bottle - I was provided with one containing only 2/3rds of the stated quantity and all the rest in the shop were the same. Something very wrong in that to my view - BEWARE

Stephen we went through this already and whilst it is good to give your warning I think, as you know better than the others why, you should mention where you got yours from rather than scaremongering on the net.

As you know it wasnt supplied to that particular retailer through my operation and is only a problem in one area.

Soltron customers, please check the levels before you buy and also check that a leaflet about Soltron comes with it. If you have any doubts contact me or raise it with the retailer first. Soltron bottles may look asif they are not full initially as a certain amount of leeway has to be present in each bottle in case it gets squashed.

<<where you got yours from rather than scaremongering on the net>>
This is definitely not scaremongering, just based on my own experience which you are aware of. Customers have a right to expect to get the quantiies they pay for wherever they get them. My guess is that most don't check and shouldn't need to. I as a customer pay for a brand named product and expect, not unreasonably, for that brand to a) provide the product in the quantities stated on the container and b) for that to be the case wherever I get it from.

<<As you know it wasnt supplied to that particular retailer through my operation and is only a problem in one area.>>
You may see it differently, but I and most other normal customers will be completely unconcerned about point-scoring over other suppliers. Anyone that claims to represent the brand has responsibility to maintain that brand reputation and customer satisfaction. My detailed correspondence with you, in which only belatedly you pointed to other agents being involved, does nothing to inspire my confidence about the degree of integration of the Soltron operation and your ability to share information to satisfy a dissatisfied customer.

Sorry Stephen but did you ever even talk to KF (I will use his intitials as you and I know who we are talking about). I dont believe you have and I think you need to talk to him about compensation as I am not going to be held accountable for his mistakes.

I have done all I can in pointing out who made the error and giving you the name and numbers of all the people concerned.

"Anyone that claims to represent the brand has responsibility to maintain that brand reputation and customer satisfaction" I dont think if you had bought a brand from a chandler who was supplied by say Mark Dowland Marine that Marathon Leisure would compensate you for something you felt dissatisfied with. same as if you bought Ariel from Tescos I am sure Sainsburys wont give you a refund if you werent satisfied. I know you see things differently but as I have said before talk to KF and resolve this with him. If you do not talk to him then I dont believe your claim is that genuine.

I bought my first bottle of Soltron from them direct and it was fine except for a dodgy bottle that didn't let me use the measuring cup at the top. Was at Shamrock Quay chandlers and bought a new bottle. Noticed that some of the bottles had different quantities and there were no leaflets. I looked for the fullest bottle. However sometimes it looks as if a bottle has less as the bottle has been squeezed and the reservoir has been filled. But some were definitely less than the others!

Re: Soltron

I got mine a year or so ago from the Northern distributor and have been pleased with it.

I still have most of it left because as soon as I can get my rags up I do. I keep it in a box well away from UV, how long will it last/be effective for?

Well it has many uses but I dont think I can add flippin to the leaflet /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Look at the web site below and then phone your nearest retailer for a price.

Good Luck.

BTW for those who want to use it in there cars or bikes or for the yachtie with the smaller tank I will be introducing 50ml botles soon which treat 250 litres.
