What's the best bit of . . .

I have one of those and they are very useful but unless you got a cracking deal it must have been over a tenner

I bought it in France where they had them for sale on the counter at the Pharmacy when the Euro was 1.50 to the Pound (where it should be)
Certainly it was not €15.

. . . boating kit you've bought for under a tenner? And for you old salts, I'm talking in the last two or three years, not way back when you could diesel up and still have change for the pictures.

powerless vacuum cleaner that gets into confined spaces

And just in case this whole thread is about you finding something for your wife's birthday/anniversary ( I know, spotted it a mile off) ;)

Full finger cycling gloves like these are great for protecting ladies finger nails while handling mooring lines .

What is everyone cable-tying?
I have used a few when..err..cabling..but ?

Good question :D I have to confess to being in the cable tie gang as I have a large bag of cable tie's on my boat.

Cant for the life of me remember what they were intended to be used for, they are all still safely in the bag in which they came waiting for the day when I.....:confused: Need to cable tie something :):)

Lol Daka - I like your train of thought! As it happens, swimbo and I share birthdays and boringly we don't do pressies. Also as it happens, our big day was yesterday so if anyone wants to send us a belated virtual . . .

Come on then MapisM. What's this special use you put your condoms to then?

Who said it's special?
I just wanted to check if any grown man around here wasn't aware of what condoms are used for...
...sorry, couldn't resist! :D

Muppet!

I too have cable ties, in readiness for that impending 'quick darling, there's cables in need of tying' event. Hasn't happened yet in six years of boating. I've got some black ones and yellow ones. Quite exciting really. Although I wouldn't expect anyone's swimbo to understand - it's a bit of a man thing.
