What should you take abroad from the UK?

Is it possible to create a list of things you would have taken abroad with you if only you had known?

We are leaving for good tomorrow or the day after but I know we have either forgotten something or there will be something we cannot get or crave but cannot find it abroad.

Knowing what you do now what things would you have taken with you and what things are far cheaper to buy here before setting off?

Well, yes, don't see the point of tea really . But did have family onboard once and remember teabags being bit pricy and only available in small packs.

Malt vinegar, the dark stuff. I was only ever able to find shelves full of the local stuff made from wine..tastes like rats..Don't use it on yer chips whatever you do..

An extra extra set of seals for the Jabsco that will always block at 11.30 at night on passage......

get a vacuum sealer / especially one that will work with long rolls of material rather than individual bags. Use it to pack labelled equipment spares, and electric equipment not in use at the moment, as well as food!

Keep them any from them thar charts! Slocum had problems with that.
