Is it possible to create a list of things you would have taken abroad with you if only you had known?

We are leaving for good tomorrow or the day after but I know we have either forgotten something or there will be something we cannot get or crave but cannot find it abroad.

Knowing what you do now what things would you have taken with you and what things are far cheaper to buy here before setting off?

We left in 1999. There is nothing you cannot do, get, renew or whatever somewhere on your travels.

Relax. Thats what you are going for!!!!

Hope this helps

Take an open mind and a willingness to soak up other cultures.

My wifeis always mentioning something about my mind but it usually goes in the same sentance as lost.
I am willing to soak up anything apart from the 7's and 8's that have been here for the last few days. Give me culture any day!

Teabags.

Can't really think of anything else. Most things are available and possibly cheaper. HP sauce if that's your thing?

Enjoy the passage and the wine. :)

jealous, moi?

Paddy,
Have you ever seen a tea bag. I know you may have looked for them in the bottom of a few bottles but the come in packs, a bit like customs officials in Portugal.
I thought you were more a Tapas and wine man:D:D:D

Well, yes, don't see the point of tea really :) . But did have family onboard once and remember teabags being bit pricy and only available in small packs.

An extra extra set of seals for the Jabsco that will always block at 11.30 at night on passage......

get a vacuum sealer / especially one that will work with long rolls of material rather than individual bags. Use it to pack labelled equipment spares, and electric equipment not in use at the moment, as well as food!
