Sadly we have now been overtaken by Scutt yer Butt in total thread numbers whereas a few months ago, we were well ahead. I know the current version of the forum has been around for some time and for sure, it doesn't crash as often as it did, but IMHO the e-mail notification system is rubbish. The old forum used to give you e-mail notification of every post on a thread so you could keep up with a thread without going on to the forum and dive back in when you felt like it. The current e-mail notification system seems completely random and I, for one, lose track of what's going on in a thread so I tend to forget about that thread and make no further contribution. It seems to me, with some notable exceptions, that some threads don't get all the responses they deserve and possibly, that is discouraging forumites from posting
I agree collectively we seem to have lost our mojo.![]()
I think some stuff has been great.
wiggo vibrating, tales of boats being stuck abroad, return of the burgee, ups and downs of certain boat builders, raggie warfare and of course JFM's birth!! Perhaps I'm easily pleased but I love the forum. Some may wish for more conflict to make things "interesting" but there's enough of that all around.
Looking forward to the winter when tales of success and failure will be revealed and some good humour no doubt.
Viva la forum!!
Get yourself a gmail account and then mark the emails from Nordhavn as spam. You won't ever see them again. Also agree with the Major about not wanting any more emails, I have currently got a massive stream of email/posts coming in from a Nordhavn site via Yahoo and can't stop them.
Even the moderator can't do anything, be careful which boxes you tick![]()
Well, Daka's a dangler - he's admitted it.
Not exactly Searush
If you take a closer look you will note elastic ties with quick release jam cleats

midships have 'fender buddies' that attach to the guard wires.
The more I see that picture, the less I understand how it works.
