Me,I'm a full displacement sort of person with alot carried under the waterline, although I do have a quite fetching reverse sheer on my aft end.
Going by a piccy I saw of someone posted by Haydn I'm not alone.

Deep V ... fast mover, sharp bow section with deep penetrating bow section. Deep V continues all the way to rear end, making for soft ride at speed in high seas. High torque, reliable and long lasting engines, highly manouverable and stamina to keep going for prolonged periods of time, even if it gets bumpy and a bit rough....

Streamlined racing form, built for speed. Mostly just the drive section in the water. Not much stamina but very fast.

You've seen my form, but I must admit, I am considerably lighter in displacement now, after I was scraped and re-antifouled in Hospital! But still of the more rounded hull form, built for comfort in heavy seas! I should be so lucky!!

You'll notice Fred did'nt post that he would be one of those little boats with hand cranked paddle wheels you used to find in the boating ponds years ago.
Mind you after Albert finished with his leg he needed a cup of tea and a quiet smoke.
