What does my boat weigh?

Marinas are fairly light boats. If the engine is the usually fitted 2 stroke, I’d say all in including trailer it would be around the tonne mark. Without trailer certainly no more than 8/900 kgs with engine.
Only exception would be if it’s wate logged with osmosis.

Trailer Warning.
I once had a Marina GT when they first came out (1966?) it was on the single axle trailer which the boatyard recommended. (perhaps a Snipe)
It had brakes as the total weight was over 750 kilos (although in 1966 kilos had not been discovered)
It was fitted with a 33hp Johnson Two Stroke I imagine that the only extra weight I would have carried was two 5 gallon drums of petrol.
Towing the boat round a bend, I felt a lurch behind me, on checking the trailer the trailer frame had twisted, fortunately not bad enough to touch the road, so my advice is get one which is rated to carry 1 Ton or more.

Not to lose sight of my original question, can anyone tell me how to calculate the weight of my boat???

I recently bought a speedboat which came on a Un-Braked trailer.
Towed it to a Weighbridge and got the boat and trailer weighed for £5.
PS, Some boatyards have a lifting crane where the weight of the boat they are lifting is displayed in Kilos.

He will need a 1100kg GTW trailer, with brakes.
