Looking for heads up pls and what I might need if I take my boat form the Thames estuary onto the Kent and Avon for a few weeks next year! Have been told about a boat safety cert ,but how does them ! Thanks

Depends how long you are going for.

BSSC can be a real pain. If you can get short term permits for the length of your intended stay then BSSC exemptions are available.
