What blog software do people reccomend?

I am heading off on the Clipper southern ocean leg, so I need something that I can update either a) offline, then sync via sat email, or b) just update via email.

Ideally android platform

Sailblogs has an 'update by email' facility that uses an email template, all described in the help - send an email to an assigned address with a verification code in the subject and format the message using the template. I dont know if this is available with a 'free' option

I use WordPress for all my websites.

I will admit that I have a degree in IT and I find it easy to use, very powerful and very versatile.

However you can make it as simple or as complicated as you need.

Googles very own blogspot / blogger. Simple, free, mail posts. Sorted.

blogspot is great. No thinking required. You can create new ones and get good urls for each

You can change all sorts of stuff and create a unique look if you can be arsed.

I use Blogger by Google as you can update by e-mail.

If anybody knows of some blogger software that will take a Yellowbrick location transmission I'd be interested in knowing how to do that.

Again Google's Blogger. Simple to use, easy to update, limited templates but they work on every machine and operating system.

If I was a whiz, I would use Wordpress, but I'm not.
