That didn't take long We saw her going up and down the river whilst we were on the SS Great Britain... some interesting tide/wind meant that she couldn't get her bow through the wind to turn round... enter guy on a rib with a bow fender to give a little assistance!
Stavros has a bowthruster, but we regularly drop off the Bosun and a deckhand in one of the RIBs in case a shove is required here and there. I think there's a forumite who puts his thirteen-year-old son in the dinghy for similar purposes.
I might do the same if I had a big boat (and a son ). Be fun to pretend to be an ocean liner being snugged into place with tugboats
