What’s the weather like where you are

La Barca, the scallops were to die for!
Thought it was. Cant remember what we had but it was very good. Today we are having a rather pretentious 'sunday lunch' a day late at a gastropup before heading for home

Weather grey and 7, ice warning for tomorrow

The weather in Antibes is stunning today......guess where I’m going?....pictures to follow

Been quite sunny most of the day but only 8°C Solar panels did quite well 26.5 kWh which was quite useful since it was an electricity Red day meaning leech was €0.7006 kWh so saved a bob or two will drain the batteries this evening saving a few more bob. Off to Blighty at sparrow fart tomorrow morning for a few days where it's going to be miserable, cold and wet.

I’m booked to go to England next summer…if that in anyway adds to the conversation

But how do you pick the three days in three months that is the English summer?
We’ve decided we’ve had enough looking at boats in the rain and, as it looks like the boat we like won’t be available for a couple of months, we’re looking at somewhere sunny to go. She’s found a cheap apartment on the Amalfi coast so just looking at flights now.

I’m not relying on the English weather.....although...touch wood....every previous visit to Blighty for the past several years has had glorious weather. It’s the sort of luck that doesn’t translate to the Euromillions lottery

The sea and the sky are a beautiful colour and it is t-shirt weather….spent the day getting the boat shipshape and will leave tomorrow at an early hour

Looks like we are now entering our transition stage .. where odd days hover around zero .. anything with direct sun on starts to thaw ... then as sun moves round and night falls - freezes ....

Its a time when people wish they didn't drive old BMW's !! Just a few days ago .. pal of mine was driving back to Ventspils ... reckoned he passed at least 4 Beamers in the ditch ...

I'm itching for Summer as well ... get back out on the boats ...

Will have repairs to do to pontoons / decking etc after Ice had had its way with them ...
I’m staying on the boat right now…it’s easier to do work on the boat when you live on it rather than motivate yourself to go to the port just to work.
Today I am going to concentrate on two seacocks that will need replacing as part of routine maintenance. I want to use TrueDesign…so I have to size them up and see if they will fit and then order them…as they are difficult to find retail
