Re: Absolute layout

The fab lunch table is a main reason why we got the Sq58. It has worked wonderfully well, and I've got lots of "value" out of it by using it for client lunches and stuff (and will do this weekend at the Monaco GP).

You're going to be at Monaco this weekend!!!???!!!??? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
That must be costing you a fortune for the Berthing!! Have you had the boat there during the GP weekend before?
Can i formaly ask for you to take loads of pics of the harbour, marina, all the boats and the cars if you can see them, and post them all here next week or whenever?? PLEASE!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Have a great weekend.

Um, yes. Actually the squaddie will be berthed in Cap D''Ail marina round the corner from Monaco and we will be on Mirabella V for the actual race, as guests of the owners of F1. I'll maybe get you some pix from the top of M5's mast. If you give me an email addy I'll send you movie files from digi camera. Tough assignment eh, Al, but someone's gotta do it :)

M5 is already docked in monaco on T quai - live webcam here http://notari.tv/

You mention berthing fees - I have a copy of the invoice for M5 - it's a bit more than Inverkip :)

From up M5's mast you see the cars come out of the tunnel, then continuously along the north side of the port thru the chicane, then past the swimming pool, then Rascas left hairpin, then you only lose sight of them as they go past the pits and up to Casino Square. No grandstand or balcony gives you anything like that good a view - it's the best seat in the house! I've got loads of pix from last year - do you want them? Here's one.

Re: monaco gp

Planned to go to GP this year but exams got in the way, hope you have a great time - No idea what you have to do to become friends of the owners of F1 but if you fancy letting me know i think i'd quite like to work towards it! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

PS: Know anyone in the Automobile or Yacht Club? I fancy becoming a member, sadly I dont know two people within them that will reccommend me /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I dont have a problem as long as its from a regular forumite like "jez" I would probably feel differently if it was blatant advertising from a newbie. Apart from anything else I find it quite interesting to follow a new venture and wish Jez the best of luck with it.
