Haines pause production

Haines have announced that they are pausing production of new boats.

Not good news and no doubt a very difficult decision for Bob, Mary and Justin, who have been building excellent boats for many years and have a loyal following of customers for good reason.

The good news is that they will continue to operate providing maintenance, repairs and customer support.

It’s Hayles, in Yarmouth. They don’t build anything these days. Haines in Itchenor is John Tremlett, AFAIK he just does maintenance and mooring, mostly for the XOD fleet. He’s also the current and probably future holder of the Captain’s cup, the XOD Cowes week prize.
